The Emergency Department manages approximately 50,000 presentations annually, with: ~25% paediatric presentations Significant trauma exposure Regional referral responsibilities, including: Aeromedical retrievals Telehealth support to surrounding rural and remote hospitals Clinical support includes: 15-bed Emergency Short Stay Unit Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory Modern imaging and diagnostic services You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the planning and development of a brand-new Emergency Department, helping shape the future of emergency care for the region.
